Let's be honest. How many of us actually play with us our kids when we're at the playground? Here's what my going-to-playground time sounds like:
Poppy, do you need to pee? Put some clothes on please, we;re going out soon. Where's the sunblock? If ou want to bring bubbles, you look for them ok? Get your sandals on. No, no more playing with train tracks. Have you gone to pee? Go pee, there are no toilets at the playground. Sandals now please! Where's your other sandal? Where's Calla's hat!! No, we don't bring your bicycle this time. Hurry, we're already late!
Yeah.
So by the time we're actually there, all I want to do is breathe out a sigh of relief and rest. But yesterday while she was in the maze, I got my butt up and chased her. "Arghhh!!! Giant!!!" she screamed. I may have felt like a grumpy old troll but this smile made me smile too :)

Nice smile! The hubby and I take turns to run after Angel like the evil monster at the playground. But with my big tummy now, it's getting somewhat challenging. I brought her to play sand again today and I totally had to sit down on the sand after squatting for five seconds, not to mention getting up was equally daunting. Still, I love playground experiences with kids! It's fun! =) Can't believe I Heart Smiles is ending in two days!
