I Heart Smiles, Day 29 - Imagination Nation

Did you do this as a kid? I did. Alot. I remember tucking checkered blankets all around the lower bunk of the double decker bed and pretending I was in a train. I brought books, I brought snacks, I had my torchlight. I was so comfortable in my little 'cabin' that I thought I would be very happy remaining there forever.

One day, out of the blue, I put up the blankets for Poppy and she squealed in delight. I said "Look! A train!" and she didn't need any further explanation.

One other thing she also likes is 'camping', which is basically a blanket thrown over chairs, giving one an incredibly tiny space to contort one's body into.  But when one is merely a metre tall, that little area is the perfect space for well, everything :) We played Bingo this morning, she in her make-believe tent, and me outside. So easy, but so fun.

All my I Heart Smiles posts will be consolidated on my I Heart Smiles page

If you'd like to share how you make your kids smile, link up with me, won't you? Pictures of smiling kids optional though that'd be really nice. If your kids are shy, then please do include a picture of the thing that you do to make them smile :) It doesn't have to be a big thing, any little effort on your part (but it's got to be a conscious effort!) will do!
