I Heart Smiles, Day 4 - Oh Happy Meal

I sometimes try to make fun presentations of Poppy's meals. I have to admit that because she's not that much of a fussy eater and doesn't require much visual coaxing efforts, I don't really put much effort into nice presentations of her plates. 

But as I was slicing the carrots, I thought about how perfect those little discs looked. And since dinner was chicken patties, I could easily fashion them into circles too (as opposed to the glop shaped thingies they usually are), and after a quick rummage in the freezer, lo and behold! We still had smileys!

Poppy was absolutely delighted when she saw her dinner plate and had a smile as wide as one of the smileys :)

I Heart Smiles - Let's celebrate our kids' smiles!
