Butterflies in the Wrong Tummy

Today Poppy started K1. But the butterflies were fluttering around in my tummy instead.

I knew she was going to be fine. I knew everything was going to be OK. She wasn't a newbie after all. She was going to a school that she knew well. I wasn't nervous, to be honest. It was more of a typical must-get-all-emotional-and-shed-a-few-tears moment for me.
