On days like today when I'm sick as a dog (no thanks to the famous bug that's been going around, our family is at different stages of sickness right now) and bending down just makes me feel like I'm going to topple over, I try to tell myself that she's learning about gravity and the laws of physics.

Hope you get well soon. It does get better after some time. What I use to do is put newspaper or any unwanted sheet under the high chair which makes it easy to throw out after each meal. Saves the hassle of cleaning so much :)

ReplyDeleteI must confess. I was too lazy to clean up last time, hence I fed the boy all the time! Till one day he protested, cos he was in the I-want-to-do-everything-myself-stage and I relented.
He was more nitpicky than I am... so I think I managed to scrape by without the mealtime mayhems with that one. Unless you count the times when he feels that he wants to assert his independence by showing me that regular mealtimes are so passe. :D
